Economy 52,931
https://www.theweathernetwork.com/ca/news/article/ontario-shots-of-snow-lake-effect-messy-weekend-system-with-widespread-heavy-rain-freezing-rain-snow Parts of USA and Canada this weekend will be hit with the wettest Rain Storm in any January month in all-time history Detroit USA could see over 100mm of rain (over 4 inches). These amounts of rain normally come with hurricanes or tropical storms Further up in Canada the Toronto area is still looking at 75+ mm (if you count expected ice at the end) On the Canadian side some areas will see the precipitation fluctuate between rain and ice especially towards the end when temperatures drop Toronto will see mainly rain (but some ice possible in last few hours) while areas just a bit West and north-west will see dangerous amounts of ice for the second half of the storm

Here in the Toronto suburbs it's very dark but the rain hasn't started yet In my city Brampton it's supposed to start later today and pour all the way till tomorrow afternoon then tomorrow night it's supposed to switch to ice and freezing rain But since Brampton is right at the border of where the ice is expected to hit anything could happen. I'm hoping they are slightly wrong about where the areas where ice will start and we still get just rain

I hate having to take my car to the car wash and sometimes don't wash it for months and in the winter it gets extra dirty cuz of all the salt they put on the roads to melt ice and snow Now with this much rain my car will be washed squeeky clean and I don't have to go to carwash
