Born this way, very original , cryptic, symbolic, out of place but still weirdly fitting

I can't at people say ARTPOP :ladyhaha: Dope is and Sexxx Dreams are the only songs with really great lyrics, half of the album has mediocre ones

OT: Probably The Fame Monster

TFM for the bridge of Dance in the Dark alone

But in all seriousness still probably TFM. Bad Romance actually has very well written versus with strong metaphors... hell the whole song is a an amazing metaphor. SHICD and Monster are well written as well. AND do not forget Speechless.... a truly amazing and emotional ballad.

BTW would be a close second though- TEOG, You and I, Marry the Night, Hair

They’re all good wym :triggered:

except CTC and ASIB of course

CTC because they’re covers and ASIB because they’re not written by Gaga as Gaga, they’re written by Gaga as Ally so if they’re deep it’s for movie purposes and not real life.

That’s like counting Hannah Montana songs in Miley’s discography

I'd put ARTPOP 2nd behind BTW... IMO good lyrics don't have to be poetic or "deep" - "iconicness", memorable imagery and a sense of humour are more important for me, and I think ARTPOP had a ton of great moments in that regard.

"Uranus- don't you know my ass is famous?!!" - need I say more?
