I personally have loved watching her grow and change and I'm fine with whatever she decides to do. Maybe that will change eventually but as of now nothing she has done has turned me off or made me "miss the old gaga" because I still see everything I saw in her in 2009 in her today. It's not really a black and white issue. She just seems to be kinda chillin and doing fun **** where there's no pressure nowadays, BUT she has built a fan base on deeply artistic projects from TFM/BTW/AP and now she just isn't. I see why fans are upset. The last attempt she made to make a bomb video was with John Wayne, and even the concept for that video was lost in the visuals despite being a great video. She's matured, but that doesn't mean she can't make great music with great supporting visuals like the old days when her artistic fire was at its peak. I'm frustrated typing this because none of us know Gaga and don't have a clue about what has ACTUALLY gone down throughout her career. It's legit all just educated assumptions on this site and **** she says on Oprah... There is an element of character at every Gaga show is what I'm saying - from the beginning of her career to now. I guess to me it just felt a bit like Gaga was rejecting her past 'crazy' self in favour of her newer, more lady-like, toned-down self which she seems to think is kinder, braver etc. And I struggle with that because her past extravagant self meant so much to those of us who felt different, whereas now it feels like she wants to fit in. I might be overthinking it, just get the impression that she's not as fond of the past Gaga as we all are (I know that's because of her health struggles, but I mean more her public persona).
