American's don't want to kill Iranians … Iranians don't want to be in a war with the US …. '

Politicians are doing this … and the Islamic republic is / has been at war with western ideology in the region for years and years.....

Iran is being used to promote their version of leadership …. this incident is merely another even in the ongoing war … nothing new here , just the highest ranking member of their side to get killed in a while...

Attacks on the US is/was/are being planned and will continue …. its just a good thing for the US to have damaged their command structure imo.

1906 Iranians demanded Democracy and wanted to live in a secular free country, they asked America for help and became allies.

1953 then America and Great Britain helped to organize a coup against popularly elected prime minister Mohammad Mosaddegh because he objected to the British taking Iranian oil fields. The coup supported the Shah King Of Iran to built his own military, intelligence services, and a brutal repressive apparatus. The Shah denied human rights, tortured political prisoners, refused to allow democratic control, and was a puppet for the American government.

1979 Millions of Iranian had gone into the streets to peacefully protest against the Shahs human rights abuses. The revolution replaced the monarchy with an Islamic republic leader, Khomeini. America sent their general to help the Shah overthrow the revolution, the same way America tried to overthrow Mosaddegh a quarter century earlier. So in response, protesters attacked the US embassy and and took Americans hostage.

1980 America helped arm Saddam Hussein to start a brutal war with iran and he invaded Iran. So Iran started a nuclear program to counter what it saw as United States hostility. The United States saw this nuclear program as a threat to world peace.

2015 These tensions were eased with a nuclear deal, and Iran complied for years

2018 America betrays Iran by withdrawing from the Iranian nuclear deal, and imposes a crippling economic sanction. Iran continued to comply even though America did not. 2 years later, America kills Iranian general Soleimani and labels him a terrorist.

+ The Iranian people know all this, and many of them suffer today because of it.  While Americans have zero information about any of this and thinks Iran are simply anti western ideology and freedom.

the us gov. will support pro USleadership … and work against anti western ideology ….

All of what you posted is true .. but leaves out this simple premise …

I don't advocate the approach but its what out leadership has been doing since the end of ww2...

Iranians in the US left because of the Islamic Republic leadership as I have been told ….

Currently the war with 'Iran' centers around this type of governing body …

Should the 'People' of Iran regain control and become a democracy again, I believe that relations with the U.S. will normalize.....

Currently , the tit for tat attacks will continue imo … right or wrong... that's what's real...

We are at war with fundamentalist Islam as they have declared war and not 'The Iranian people'

Those  'millions' are brainwashed against western leadership and staged for media footage …

Much like opposing sides of Republicans and Democrats in the US using the media to promote their version of policy....

Nearly half (est)) of  Iran don't support the Islamic leaders but are suppressed violently..

There is no anti western ideology, I just explained that its more of an anti Iranian ideology and Iranians are defending themselves. Nobody is anti western ideology, they are against being used and controlled regardless of what ideology controls them. Its like you did not even read what I said!

Nobody said the Isamic Republic are good, I said that is the outcome of people turning radical because of everything I explained above.

But Iran was already a Democracy and America turned it into a dictatorship monarchy on purpose, what the heck are you talking about? Saudi Arabia is a dictatorship monarchy and America loves Saudi. Its more about what country allows America to control it.

At that time, Iranians did actually support an Islamic leadership and revolution because they turned radical against being controlled. Ofcourse they did not know how bad it that leadership will be, but they did actually want it. But yes today most Iranians dont support the islamic government.

+ Honestly, all your talking point are from the Bush era, not even Republicans and far right believe the things you are saying.

I completely disagree with all these views … most Iranian expatriates support my postions ...

Iran is anything but a democratic government....

I did not say Iran is a Democratic government, I said Iran used to be a Democratic government in 1906, and America turned it into a monarchy dictatorship.

I dont care what expatriates you personally know say, I care about what officially released public information say. I just proved to you that America has been attacking and controlling Iran for 80 years turning it into a dictatorship, then they become anti America.

I agree,  American politics meddles in Iran..Causes problems. ..

It's the Islam dictaorship the and their fanatic followers that are the problem and who the war is about....

I feel bad for the innocent victims here..

Simply 'Hating America' is too narrow ...

America does not cause problem, America is the problem.

Islamic dictatorship in Iran is the outcome resistance of the problem which is America.

I dont hate America, I hate all governments, they all do the same thing if they are capable. But we need to face the facts to solve the problem.
