I don't know where you live, but smoke doesn't look like that here in France

I live in Chicago, US and let me tell you - we just legalized the grass. So you could say I never saw smoke until a week ago.

I recognize the glasses, I just thought the album cover was a different thing all together. I also didn't follow her that closely in that era yet. 

 

 I know the Joanne album has pink smoke over her head, that's a fact.

When the album first came out,  I actually thought the same thing.  I only realized they were covered in crytals about a year after the album was released

However, where were you that you never saw smoke? Dang, I have to see it all the time in my face since the smokers 'round here are so dang inconsiderate.

I used to live off of Dearborn in college - between the art school students and service industry folks, we hot boxed the whole city with pot and cigarettes. 

 

I grew up in a house of smokers and, in turn, smoked a lot in college. I thought it was a "smoke effect", not necessarily a shot of smoke. I know better now. I have been shown the way.

Lololol I’m glad you have educated yourself. There are sooo many smokers in Chicago. I actually see more here than I do in LA and New York. It could just be my own experience, but it’s baffling
