She most likely will not endorse someone until they become the nominee, which I think is the right move. Even among Democrats, if she endorses one candidate for the primaries, then you’ll get every other Dem who supports another candidate go against her.

In all honest, she probably supports either Biden or Warren, maybe Bernie. Even though she’s all about political activism and battling the status quo (socially speaking), I don’t know, I just don’t see her preferring him over Warren or Biden.

I agree, I thought she would at least support Biden or Warren but the fact that she only follows Bernie I think is her way of quietly voicing her opinion on who she supports.

I singled that out because those people have an irrational vendetta in the sense that none of it is about what he actually stands for. Like, he is not trying to install an authoritarian regime in America or overthrow capitalism in favor of socialism, no politician is  So, it's not a disagreement in politics in that case, it's just... willful ignorance or brainwashing.

I said "at all" because people for some reason believe that not identifying as solely a Democrat means you don't have liberal values or believe in democracy, freedom, equal opportunity, etc  He has clearly always been ideologically aligned with the core tenants of the Democratic Party. Even when he identified as a Socialist and was with Socialist-leaning affiliations - and when he was an Independent - he was algined with the ideas of the Democratic party. He just doesn't like that the Democratic party has become the party of the wealthy elites and moved away from being the working class, pro union party that it used to be in the past, and I can't imagine actually arguing that the Democratic Party has been better or more effective or even successful since it moved away from being the Party Of The People, so this doesn't bother me at all.

For some reason I feel like Gag would like a more "center" traditional democrat like Biden or she may like a left leaning candidate like Warren at most. I can't see her going all the way to someone like Bernie but the fact that he is the only one she is following is surprising to me. Maybe she is in fact a Bernadista which would be a dream for me since I love him lol

I think if she were more engaged in politics, she would support Bernie though. He's offering the most change and most positive vision for the future and that's all up her alley as an activist

To a different point, I've seen some people who claim they dislike Bernie because he's "an old white man" and they'd rather support an old white woman.

I mean that's just white feminism gone wrong. Because people forget that intersectionality matters. Bernie has fought more for issues that will affect women, especially low income ones who need the most help, than many actual women running. But if you build your entire identity and politics around idpol, then

I feel like societies ever growing awareness of inequality issues is producing an odd side effect... Resentment towards the most priveledged

 

As a white guy I feel attacked all the time now on some social stuff. In real life I've only felt it maybe twice it definitely happens way more on social media but then that just tells u what ppl think that they aren't saying

 

I'm not talking about reverse racial prejudice or reverse sexism this is different. This is more like ppl upset at those who historically unfairly had it better but then hold it against the entire group in general

 

That fact that some ppl actually get so triggered when some try to bring it up (I've seen others on GGD bring it up too) proves to me that it is indeed real but people actually try to justify it

 

Not all white guys have it good in life (I can attest to that). And not all of us are insensitive towards POC or women so ppl need to chill with those kind of rude preconceptions. Yeah white men in business and politics have been opressive in society but of us are not responsible for that whatsoever
