An estimate means it could be off by a million or two, it doesn't mean the whole list is wrong :awkney: Here's the list from forbes.

But PoggersFace from GGD apparently knows more about celebrities earnings  than business insider and forbes :awkney:

Because Forbes doesn't know her earnings, only estimates. You think Gaga got less from ASIB and Enigma than Katy from a TV show? :enigma:

Katy? That’s a feat considering she flopped for half of it.

Well she was massively successful until like 2014/2015, but she did have American Idol and maybe that was a huge source of income for her? :laughga: Idk that’s like the only explanation.

this is based on reports artists send to Forbes, there is some article that debunks this but i cant remmember the link...

they said that Gaga and Rihanna are not reporting their salaries

A topic tagged Music News with Gaga in the title is a pretty dangerous and tame thing to do in these LG6 drought times that we're in.

That is wrong. The list was compiled by some intern and earnings are only revealed via info sent by the artists themselves. The estimates will be off by a large margin because they have NOTHING to base them on. They made estimates from past records or similar income sources, so yeah they can be off by a large margin -- tens of millions.

"some intern" when the article literally says  SENIOR editor.

Also "Our list of the world’s highest-paid women in music measures pretax income from June 2018 to June 2019. Fees for agents, managers and lawyers are not deducted. The numbers are compiled with data from Nielsen Music and Pollstar, as well as interviews with handlers, industry experts and many of the stars themselves."

There’s literally no way Gaga made only 500 million. No way

She has Enigma, BTWB, TMB, ARTRave, JWT, and C2CT, all of the albums and singles she released, American Horror Story, ASIB.... that doesn’t make any sense

Doesn't really matter when the artists have so much more income beyond music like endorsements and brands. Earnings are confidential and "industry experts" can only provide a rough estimate. Artists' income go through a private company which does not reveal its finances. Only data from artists' themselves are accurate. Pollstar doesn't know the percentage of gross the artist gets either.

The "senior editor" might as well been an intern because the biggest achievement in his profile is graduating from Yale LOL. He has no influence or worthwhile insights except that he works for Forbes.
