Please get out and get friends to VOTE next Nov 2020 whoever the general democrat is on the ticket. 4 more yrs of trump would kill our country. republicans didnt like trump but voted for him cause of his image and they hated HIllary. all of us need to get people out to vote or they can get a ballot thru mail and send it back in. we gotta turn out. But there needs to be more done about INTEGRATION of immigrants in the canadian society. sometimes it ends up that france/other countries people all hang out together and don’t blend in the end which could have some impact long term.... a united nation is better than a divided one canadians that are already there need to make efforts about that, the government and also the newcomers ! Agreed. Clusters can be an issue. It's the reason my grandpa whose been in Canada 45 years still can't speak English He lives in little Portugal in Toronto and he just got comfortable with other Portuguese and never learned anything @StrawberryBlond I think it was you that said something about the US having that unique characteristic of culture towns but we have the exact same thing here. Polish towns, China Towns, Little Portugal, Little Italy etc it's not really exclusive to the US I'm sure Countries like Australia where nearly 1/3 are now born outside Australia also have things like that too I wouldn't be surprised if in the UK at the very least London did too Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
