LG6 about Trauma and PTSD

The phrase "I don't remember" has been showing up a lot.  People that have suffered from prolonged trauma or have PTSD can suffer from memory loss.  

Gaga saying that she does not remember ARTPOP could refer to all the abuse she received during that era.  She obtained so much trauma from that era that she cannot remember it.  

Gaga's albums are always based on subjects that she has talked about since the beginning of her career.   

The Fame/Fame Monster- Her obsession with fame and David Bowie

Born This Way- She has always stood for equality and the gays

ARTPOP- She has always talked about Andy Warhol and Pop Art

Joanne- She was extremely influenced by her aunt and always would say her name after praying before shows. 

Trauma has followed gaga her whole career.  She has always talked about it.  I think the album will be about how she deals with trauma and her PTSD.  It will be a "fun" album about dancing through the pain and trying to remember the good times amongst all the bad times. 

I Don't Remember could be the albums title. (Or even I Don't Remember ARTPOP, if the music is a spiritual successor to the album)

I'd like this. And I can see the album called Angelina, as a way to categorize this personal trauma.

In a similar way to how Joanne categorizes her familial trauma.

I think it will be a similar concept.  Except unlike ARTPOP it will be the main focus.  ARTPOP had a million concepts meshed together

I think the trauma topic will be inherent to her art. It has already been a recurrent subject ever since Born This Way if you think about it. But like Joanne, i don't think it will be the main theme or main concept of the album.

maybe this next album would be the same but different

in ARTPOP she talked about the pain from her hip, being away from her fans, not being able to perform, drug addiction and rape

this time i think it would be more like the pain of her being screwed over by her mangement, being doomed “over” by the media and ofc not remembering things like ARTPOP because of ptsd 

maybe she couldn’t remember ARTPOP because she was on drugs all the time?  and her saying that she “needs to be high to be creative”
