xoxo Craig 55,649
Inspired by @misunderstood and @Haus Swiftie So in my opinion, 2019 has been an okay year for music. It wasn't the worst but it wasn't spectacular either. I definitely saw myself liking more of the dance records than the trap influenced pop that seemed to dominate. I'll list my top 5, starting with 5. Here goes: 5-: Real Life - Emeli Sandé This album was so good in my opinion and didn't get much notice. This album is way more soul/gospel and meaningful than some of the pop records. Its a real honest, authentic record from her and I really appreciated that. She really took me to church. Stand outs for me are, Shine and Sparrow. 4-: Romance, Camila Cabello. Say what you want about Camila. This album was completely different to her first album and we saw her experiment with different sounds. The album was solid from start to finish, and that last song had me teary eyed. 3-: LSD - LSD You have Diplo combined with the vocal excellence of Labrinth, combined with the writings of Sia... pop magic. With hits like Genius, this album is solid from start to finish. My two favourites from this one is Audio and Genius. 2-: Lover - Taylor Swift I mean, of course. My only criticism for this album is that I find it too long? I think the album could have been 16 tracks and chopped two off of it. Towards the end, I did feel myself getting bored of it. Having said that, this again is a solid album. It has bops all the way through. Stand outs for me are The Archer, You Need To Calm Down, Cruel Summer and False God! 1-: Snacks (Supersize) - Jax Jones UGH this album? It was dance EXCELLENCE. So you may have heard some of his songs like Breathe and Instruction. Well Jax Jones released his debut album this year in 2019. And let me tell you... banger after banger after banger. AND he had the audacity to be kind... track number 15 (Tequila Time) is a track dedicated to thanking everyone involved in the project, and to us as listeners. He gives a thankyou speech over a dope ass beat! You don't see/hear that often! Stand outs for me were, This Is Real, One Touch, Play, All 4 You and Play. Literally a full dance/house record. Give it a listen when you have the chance! Overall, 2019 was a mixed bag. Had I made this list in March, I would have included Thank U, Next... but it lost its replay value quite fast. I didn't like the title track, nor 7 Rings... and while I loved the project when it was released, I would like to say TUN to it. Honourable mentions; two EPs... Glorious by Ella Henderson and Wicked Lips by Iggy Azalea. TIM by Avicii Toast To Our Differences by Rudimental and Late Night Feelings by Mark Ronson (liked the majority of the album, but some of the tracks were a no from me) Lets hope 2020 will be an even better year for music! LG6 hopefully will be here End Racism Now

LateToCult 40,781
I’m a little shook that Romance made it on to your list. I’m a fan and I purchased an autographed copy but even I think half the album was...not the best. @xoxo Craig gave me permission to plug this.
