I know. I never said I think scientists are dumb or that they should be expected to always be right on everything. Advancement in knowledge sometimes takes trial and error and hypothesizing I'm just pointing out they are falable tho... Some ppl take scientists word to heart with such faith like they must be right because they are the educated ones that know what they are talking about They are human too... I mean I guess it could apply to climate change too. When scientists give such a specific like 11 or 12 years left to significantly reduce emissions I honestly think it could easily be more (or even less) and don't take such exact precise numbers as some fact (regardless of the fact that it doesn't change the need to act in case u think I'm trying to shrug off the problem). I think the climate and earth is too complex for scientists to be capable of getting that exact a number tbh But I really meant it as a general comment. Even scientists themselves knows that some of their theories might be wrong, the thing is that they learn from this and might come with better ideas that could be really beneficial for everyone.
