Well wrong, for the moment, the contract said that Craig will play bond for one more movie (this one). The rumor about 007 beeing replaced by a woman concerns the NEXT movie. Actually the black woman we just saw could be the next 007, maybe even in this very movie? Maybe this is how this movie will end?

I mean, wasn‘t that even the actress wich was rumored to play the next 007? She said in the trailer she is also a double 0 agent, so it could be very possible. I would be here for it too!

Oooh I'm excited, I know its got its problems but at least the Craig films have recognised a few of them. I'm liking the new 007, she seems cool, I bet they'll bounce off each other pretty well. Rami Malek will be an interesting villain but if this is the last Craig film then I kind of hope Christoph Waltz is somehow pulling the strings or something, tying the series together nicely. I'm glad Lea Seydoux seems to have a big part still, I really liked her in Spectre. 

 

Seems like they're going for a fair bit of intrigue this time which is nice. Phoebe Waller-Bridge come through!!

I think she is or she'll be the new 007, but 007 is an agent title, that's it... People have been exchanging it. Like... I can be agent 007 for 5 years and then after someone else is agent 007.

This looks better than I would have expected it. Craig's Bond movies are a hit or miss. Casino Royale and Skyfall were great, but Quantum of Solace and Spectre were not it. Also, I think this is the first Craig Bond movie where you get an actual Bond-feeling. Excited to hear who will do the song this time, they take their time with an announcement.

The thing is, I think the Bond franchise really needs some fresh approach. This very type of hyper masculine main character is starting to fade away slowly. The franchise is a bit damaged, because it still follows old steretypes and movie tropes, so I am really intrigued how a Bond movie with a female will be designed. Quite excited because it's the type of experiment I am waiting for

I don‘t see it as a problem at all. And why would you call it a spin-off? It‘s just the next 007, point.

I mean sure, i think a Bond style spy film starring a female spy would be very cool since the dynamics would be quite different, but I don't see why it should necessarily take over Bond. 

 It'd be like making Superman female,  which is like...why not just create a separate character in the same vain?

I think you mix up 007 and James Bond. There is no Bond Style film...as I said it‘s 007...everyone can have the „license to kill“...as it is for now only James Bond was 007. The woman wouldn‘t become James Bond (the person), she would get to be the new 007 agent. It wouldn‘t be a spin-off or another style of film, it would simply be the next 007.

Did you notice that the OFFICIAL movie titles are not called „James Bond: Spectre“ or „James Bond: Skyfall“? They are just called „Spectre“/„Skyfall“

I know you didn‘t mean it in a bad way, but you have to see it more as 007 then the character James Bond
