Don't expect new release on Thanksgiving/Christmas

Gaga's "Spatchcock" tweet made me realized that we should not expect her to release anything during the Thanksgiving/Christmas period. That means no promo, no new releases, no singles etc.

After watching/reading so many of her recent interviews, we know she places a lot more importance to spending time with family and friends for her mental health well being. So during the holidays, we should expect that she will take time off to focus on her personal life rather than going out performing on tv shows or promoting new music. When was the last time we saw her work during the holidays? On the top of my mind was her performing "Winter Wonderland" with Tony in 2014. Correct me if I'm wrong.

So I'm here to be a grinch and say, we'll definitely not be getting LG6 this year. Clowns on us for thinking LG6 will be released on February, May, June, Aug, Sep, Oct....

I mean were we expecting her to release something this year, still? I know I wasn't. It just doesn't make any sense.

I think most of us are expecting LG6 to come either Q1 or Q2 2020 (or maybe Q2 2055, who knows )

I'm honestly still bitter about #2018RadioIsOurs lmao so I'm on the edge of my seat but I don't truly expect anything at all, after the Oscar season ended and nothing happened I was like welp one day she'll announce it so it's just waiting now

I’ll still never get over that fact that they didn’t release Baby It’s Cold Outside in 2015 too...like what is that about. We know you recorded it. Y’all can make easy bank and please fans at the same time but I guess y’all hate us that much or

I kinda stop expecting since Aug really. But then somebody hypes everyone up by posting certain things whether it be one of her producers or another artist that could possible spell a collab....

Hmmm...given all the controversy this song was getting, I'm kinda relieved that she didn't release it. It will be destroyed like DWUW.

But I'm still hoping to this day that she will release a Christmas album, be it Jazz or Pop.

Lol that song was canceled for like a minute last year and that’s it. No one cares anymore because it’s just a jazz standard that was made 50+ years ago.

I mean, it's difficult to stan someone if you don't expect them to release anything unless they announced that they will be retiring from the entertainment business. "Not expecting them to release anything in the near future" is a better way of saying it.

Not when it's Gaga. People loves to bring up controversy when it is about what she does. She has very committed haters in the media.

Ok, that's your opinion. If not getting hyped unless I get an announcement and expect the worst helps me stay cool, that's my choice. I'm honestly not stanning at all at the moment with Haus Labs and all of the ridiculous tweets and that's my choice.

I really think that's because she addressed it and performed steps to distance herself from it. People could not really use it against her anymore in that manner.

I mean, it didn't hurt her chances but it really was a "thing"–not just on stan twitter, but the mainstream media (not just entertainment media) covered it a lot. And this is coming from someone who has been critical of Gaga for working with R. Kelly, but it became overblown and she became the "face" of people who worked with him  even though there were artists who worked with him more/after Gaga. Even today, when R. Kelly's mentioned in the media they often write up something like "he was a popular singer who worked with x, y, and Lady Gaga."

Sometimes I feel like fans downplay how bad it was....whenever she speaks out about her assault some people bring up R. Kelly. I won't be specific, because lurkers, but the few "canceled" type of things Gaga's been involved with/associated with/did have all been exposed in the tabloid media/twitter over the years—but the R. Kelly thing, imo, had the worst backlash in the press and if the DWUW video with him ever got leaked...it would be really, really bad even though it should be "old" news.

There is no album so obviously there was never gonna be anything released on the holidays.
