To each their own. I personally find that all of the songs on this album still slap, but I also haven't listened to it all the time over the years so I'm just now getting into it again.

U can't really argue with taste that's why even critical acclaim awards like the Grammys to some extent are subjective...

Yeah they can try to look at things like impact and vocals and whatnot but a lot of it is still subject to a judge's opinion

That's why I usually never say that another artists songs "suck" cuz for them to have success obviously enough people like it to support them so who am I to argue? So I usually just say "I don't like it" in an opinionative form. Although I may comment on how talented I think someone is on things like vocals, stage presence or dancing abilities for example

So yeah that's just my personal opinion. I haven't listened to The Fame as an album in probably 8 years cuz there's a lot of songs there I don't care for... I literally only love Just Dance, Poker Face, Love Game, Paparazzi and StarStruck

ARTPOP and ASIB equally also only had 5 or 6 tracks I loved

BTW and TFM tho :legend:

Joanne I didn't love as much as TFM or BTW but u still prefered are a whole over TF, ASIB and ARTPOP

Mind u, the songs from ASIB and TF that I loved, I REALLY LOVED whereas ARTPOP I only "liked" 5 or 6 songs I didn't love any tho

That's why ARTPOP is my least fav :emma:

Billboard considers TFM as part of The Fame though, right? So, "The Fame" here is actually TF + TFM?

So, they are considering the sales from 2010-2011, which were obviously big thanks to her popularity back then with Bad Romance and Telephone, and not really just from something released in 2008...

"Dance Electronic" albums are not that popular or best-selling anyway. Her competition here are popular hitmakers, but not really album-makers. She was a pop star in dance electronic field. If TF was considered a pop album, it would never be no.1 and the perception would be completely different.

Anyway, congrats Gaga.
