Is now the time to release ARUTW?

Absolutely not; it was already released as an unofficial single in October 2018. I seriously cannot think of any reason why a song would be released to select countries and not receive a full U.S. release when it is on an acclaimed album with chances of reenergizing a legend's career while dominating the Oscars and Grammys. How much harder would it have been to make the limited release a full one after the Oscars? It re-charted the week after at #55. Can you imagine where it would have ended up had she sung it at the Grammys instead of that horrible Shallow rendition? Or, had she snuck a part of it into the Shallow Oscars version?

Even still, the hype remained for a good 1-2 months after, at any point during which a re-release of ASIB with Clover (studio), Shallow (live, studio), no dialogue and a real cinematic video for ARUTW + the live Oscars performance would have given the album fresh air and if served to radio and promoted on Spotify, would have hit the top 10 hard and heavy.

Like, beyond Shallow, the dozen+ songs Gaga wrote and sung may as well have joined her other unreleased smashes. She is going to walk away with 1 award more than she should have for 'Til it Happens To You,' (for Compilation Album at Grammys). ARUTW could have been the token ballad for an LG6 that could have been released in March, Heal Me/Why Did You Do That/Before I Cry and parts other songs all could have been tweaked and included as tracks. To work this hard on a project that ended up 100% focused on 1 song was a total waste.
