Just curious, excuse my uneducatedness, but is there a reason people hate Oprah other than the MJ thing?

Personally, because she is the first person who gave antivaxxers a platform (the episode is still on her site). And with her power and reach, the damage she did is huge.

She's working on a new "superpower" besides the talents she has already showed us? :udidnt:

i think the reason why she isnt talking about lg6 is cuz nothing is set in stone and she's still in the process of making it and so there is, in her mind, really nothing to say about it

I thought Gaga was really brave and inspiring except for the part where she said she was meant to deal with all of the pain.

Oprah asking about LG 6 was totally insensitive in my opinion. She shouldn’t have asked about it in that setting. I also felt the whole line of questioning was insensitive, glad Gaga corrected her with the „you‘re a cutter“ part.

It could be seen how she was thinking whether she should answer honestly to the question that how many years she did go through that extreme pain that led her to be afraid every night if she's going to die :(

She was so honest and open about herself and her mental health journey <3 This is why I love her so much. Maybe more because of her honesty and her message than because of her music. She truly is authentic and inspiring person and she uses her fame right

Damn, Gaga is so f*ckin inspirational and her sharing her story really heals a lot of people. I know we all want "the album" but she's actually doing really important work that not all pop stars are doing. What an amazing interview, I hope there's an HD video.

That aside, I was hoping LG would give something more to Oprah RE: LG6 but she really didn't. This makes me feel the album is years away :huntyga: all she said was "I know we're having a self-care conversation now, but I will still put out music..." And that was it :vegas:

What did Oprah say and what did Gaga answer? I probably missed that part because I lost connection every now and then for multiple seconds.

Agreed.

I mean. She is the only one who owns her experience, and she has the right to make whatever meaning out of it that makes sense to her, but like, no human being on planet earth is *meant* to be raped. But that is my opinion and I respect her always.
