He inserted himself. If he’s getting criticism from his own party or people allied to his party it’s ON HIM. Our only goal shouldn’t be to get Trump out. That’s not a winning strategy. "The Democrats" - We're gays on a Lady Gaga forum, sis. The Democratic strategy to get a leftist elected isn't to relentlessly bash Obama while campaigning. But the idea that we can't discuss a former president's record when he inserts himself into the national conversation while simultaneously working to get Trump out of office doesn't make any sense. And you say that last bit as a joke, but you keep coming into political threads advocating for center-right politicians and dismissing leftist arguments from actual leftists in America pertaining to our own political system. If you think a man who wants to: - expand on Obamacare (Republicans voted to repeal it 40+ times), -bring back the Clean Power Plan (Trump cancelled the rulemaking and pulled us out of the Paris Agreement), -ditch building Trump's wall (Trump shut down the government for a month over it), and -protect LGBT rights (I can't even begin to list all of the actions, large and small, that the Trump Administration has done to roll back LGBT protections in nearly every aspect of American life) is a Republican in disguise, then either your understanding of today's Republican Party is seriously misinformed or you are intentionally being deceitful.
