And age of consent was 16 since the 1920s after risen by the law from 12 that was the legal age from 1880-1920. So yes, she was of legal age and can give consent. And she did. For things like this, it is better to do a through research first before making a thread that question the non existent issue. Besides, Cher never once complain or feel bothered about it. She was truly and genuinely in love with Sonny. She was not forced. So why do you have to dig it up as something negative? You don't compare todays standard to the past, cos chances are, you will not be very pleased at most things, if not all, that you will unearth.
