Jay Z is a rapper though.  And given his dodgy past its believable that it's in his wheelhouse. Gaga's style of music isn't. 

 

I very much doubt its even in the cards unless Patricia gets up and does karaoke in a scene 😐

Who says she said no? That was all rumors. Disney could, if they wanted to, say "we'll back this film but Gaga has to agree to be in a future Disney/Marvel film." I find it really interesting that they want to pitch to Disney first...

'Murder ballads' are very much a thing. Think of Cher's Dark Lady or Bang Bang, Rihanna's Man Down, or Carrie Underwood's Two Black Cadillacs as examples as far as content goes.

If she does a song, and I hope she does, it can play over the end credits and not be diegetic to the story. If it is the first song in the credits, it would even be Oscar eligible.
