It would have mean the world to these people to just get her looking and them and saying: hi guys! Thank you so much for coming, I am having a little time off with my friends now so please if you want just wait till we leave and I’ll take a pic with all of you before leaving but now I want to spend time with them, thanks.
leaves, takes the pic (30 seconds) and says “I love you guys, see you at enigma”.

Thats it.

She wanted to be left alone and you want her to give you a full ass monologue AND photos? I have to laugh.

ma'am what's not clicking, I never said she has to or that she owes anyone anything, literally quote that message now and show me. I said it's ironic that she sings about smiling to strangers but refuses to smile to a fan, how is this implying that she has to and what does this have to do with sexism? :air:

Because the whole problem is "if she smiled OP would be happy"

You're implying that her lyrics are gospel verbatim

you made it seem like it was an okay deal that he crossed the boundary Gaga set up with security since he couldn't afford the meet&greet.

Like he was so lucky to have a ~free meet&greet~ on the casino floor.

Tat's not how it works in Vegas.

No i wasnt i wasnt im just annoyed with people who talk so easy about buying vegas tickets thats all so i dont understand why you took it that way

It’s honestly not that serious. I said she was rude by not waving at him but I was more vocal about fans desperately protecting her in this thread. Yes I agree it shouldn’t be the norm but that will never change. Sorry but that is the fact. She can either get used to it or be bothered by it which can affect her health. In perfect world celebrities would be considered as normal people but that just can’t be the thing.

It can be if we all encouraged each other to let her breathe when she's out in public and very obviously not wanting to interact. She made the line obvious but in their excitement (and often entitlement) fans purposely cross it. That's on them if she doesn't want to deal with it, not her.

Its not even about protecting her. She has big ass security for that. I'm just often bewildered at how some fans act around celebrities. They lose all sense of perspective and social skills. Screaming, crying, invading their personal space, following them. It's like having a drunk person all over you when you're sober AF. Sometimes you have the patience to deal with that and other times it's just annoying.

And again, she broke up with her boyfriend like 2days before...

I'm implying that this story contradicting her own lyrics is ironic, which it is. Never said she had to smile nor did I mention genders for you to call me sexist :air: anyways chile continue ur argument with others I'm done before you call me racist or sumn

Im sorry about your experience

but on the other hand, if her security approached and said "she will say hi if she wants to " even before you spoke to lacee then  you shouldn't have expected any response when she stood up .

Secondly  by following her when she stood up you kinda did exactly what you were NOT supposed to do .she clearly needed privacy and just because she is lady gaga doesn't mean that she has to say hi to everyone, hundreds of people call for her attention everyday .

I mean, I know it must suck that you caught her on an off night, but we can't blame her. She's, first of all, human, and second of all, trying to have a relaxing night out. There's no way she could've known your story, and even if she did, sorry, but it doesn't grant any special treatment that you flew all the way from Spain. It was your decision after all. Not that you're saying you deserved it necessarily, it's just that the discussion is getting pretty heated.

On the "she could've just waved" comments. Well, has there ever been a time you were accidentally "rude" to someone because you were tired/in a bad mood/whatever? Let alone that someone being a complete stranger, and while you were trying to have a private moment? Why hold her to a higher standard than yourself?

And lastly, I just hope someday we won't be having to write "Oh, why isn't her security more strict with strangers approaching" because something bad happened.

Well then, to you, I apologize.

It sounded like you were saying that since meet&greet is so expensive. What he was doing wasn't wrong.

Look I never said she can’t do it. OFC she can and yes I agree with you that she doesn’t owe us anything. Ofc she doesn’t. I even said she is entitled to do anything she wants to even tho that can be interpreted as rude. I do think it’s rude that she didn’t say hi or whatever but she is still entitled to it. I’d be mad about it too but again she didn’t have to say hi to me. And I know that it may be frustrating for her to have all this people around her wanting her attention or picture but sadly it’s the situation right now and it probably won’t change for a long long time. I was too vocal about my opinion in this thread but it was interpreted in a wrong way. I never said she has to do it. I only wanted to say that I think it’s rude.

No but it's good to practice what you preach, especially when there's a good message behind like this which connects to all the love and kindness she keeps talking about. Maybe if she did that more often some members in here would've been friendlier to other people :vegas:

Maybe she was being kind to HERSELF and having one night with just her and her crew. That's allowed too.

And I'm disagreeing with you that you thought it was rude.

We have videos all the way back from 2012 of fans trying to meet her the wrong way.

Safety is, and should be, every one's number one priority. That's why you hire security.

And even with security, you're not 100% safe. There's always the possibility of a loophole.

I mean we have Assassinated Presidents. Clear examples from history.

(I am not implying that OP is dangerous. I'm sure he is not. I'm just highlighting the scenarios that many celebrities are aware of when hiring security. Security first and foremost is a boundary for the artist.)

Some of the replies... :toofunny:

I am so sorry for your experience and would definitely give you a hug right now if I could. I can personally understand that you didn’t fully listen to what the security advised you to do and I’m sure I would have gone crazy if I ever saw her in the same room as me (and for everyone here that says it’s his fault, I’d very much like to see you stay civilized and not act like your idol is a few feet away from you in such a situation). She could have obviously handled the situation better than she did and y’all need to take your stan glasses off and stop acting like everything Lady Gaga does has an excuse no matter what. Yes, maybe there is a reason behind the way she acted and I’m not denying it but what she did was beyond disrespectful. I won’t even bring up the fact that some of you still have the audacity to say ‘she is a human’ as if the writer of his thread is a robot with no emotions who just happened to see the one he’s looking up to. Both of them are humans and both of them can make mistakes accordingly.

If Nicki or Katy were instead of Gaga in this scenario, literally the whole site would be attacking and calling them names. Practice what you preach, people.

Sending loads of love again, hope you enjoyed the show at least!

It's dangerous to have a dream to meet celebrities. Coz that usually means to pay a lot of money (which you did).

When she said to fight for your dreams she didn't mean paying to have it came true.

Turned out it was a bad experience for everyone, but at least the show is bomb and I'm sure you had fun. (just got slapped by reality :air:)

I'm glad I don't have this problem coz Chris Hemsworth and Sebastian Stan are both straight and one is married and has 3 kids. There is just no possible way it's gonna turn out the way I want it :lolly:

I guess just tread carefully next time

Cause once you let it go you better know it's gone

Well some people don’t care about her exhaustion as long as she’s a CeLeBriTy and she’s got mOnEy. Some people here don’t even care about her well being.

I agree with this. Some people don't care at all, they just want her to be the celebrity, and keep them entertained, no matter what, as long she is doing what they want and like. On the other hand, some treat her like God, she has to be perfect, acts perfect all the time, do and say the right thing all the time, and she can't do it cause she's simply human. In conclusion many quick forget or like to dismiss anything that humanizes her,  and  therefore there's no empathy towards her. In this particular case i can understand the fan being sad and understand Gaga simply being not in mood to nod, being drunk, wanted to be left alone whatever she was feeling. Someone might catch her next week at some place, and she will nod, or wave or even talk...  Unfortunately that night she probably wasn't in a happy space mind.
