Nicklev 1,061
I didn't like it at first, but then I met the 80' remix and became obsessed with this song. I will fix the haters with my love. And if they say they don't care I'm gonna heal them anyway.
Judas Society 3,584
It is a carefree easy listening song that resembles most of the other pop girls' songs but I don't see monsters making a big fuss bopping to. But when it comes to Gaga, they have to drag her. I understand you think she's better than this, but she still put out something similar to those you guys bop to with the other girls'. So get off from your high horse and just enjoy it.
Battle 4 Ur Life 6,721
It was playing at this store I was in the other day and GURL lemme tell you...I didn't just bop to it... I slayed the choreo. absolutely no f's given. It was wonderful. that chorus slaps. It's a major bop. I will admit it's the safest song she's ever recorded tho. and I hope it stays that way. it's still amazing. I love it. with a video it would have dominated. back then we all thought it was going to happen and some of us were pressed it didn't. myself included. “Fantastic, chic, freak, slay.”
Joshie S 6,188
Although I agree with most of your opinions, ...my name is jasmin masters and i have something to say The Cure is such a cute song, and although it may seem "simple", I always thought of Coachella/The Cure release as sort of an 'apology' in words from Gaga in regards to the ARTPOP era. I've always thought with The Cure, that it 1. sort of sounds like a similar sound Gaga was going for (it could easily fit on ARTPOP Act II) 2. The imagery we got with it was a chair, that Gaga has played with before, but during ARTPOP it was just the inner-boards, the underneath.. Then during The Cure, we got the chair again, but this time, and to quote Marry The Night, her life is like a painting, and as the artist of that painting she had to fill in all the ugly holes again... The Cure chair is full.. just a coincidence. 3. The song its self is an apology about the ARTPOP era. She obviously knows how much the fans die for her work and we all went through what we did during that time, and so along with Million Reasons, she wrote an apology song to us. As others have said this was a gift purely for the fans. [May not have the fancy things, but I'll give you everything, anything you could want it's in my arms,] ARTPOP. Finally, the song is for her with her pain, she could be singing it about herself, as she knows how someone with chronic pain feels, she's singing about "i'll undress you cuz you're tired; rub your feet your hands your legs, let me take care of it babe".. as someone with chronic pain and illness, these words say a lot during this type of song about healing, always being there. The song has so many meanings, I'm sure it was also inspired a lot about Sonja. But anyways those who just play it off as "another generic song" should think about what they're saying. You say you love and appreciate Gaga so much yet you criticise her for a song that may seem "generic" but these words came out of her mind, she felt they were important enough to put down in a song... appreciate it, cherish it while you've got it. ENJOY THE MUSIC. The melody that you choose can rescue you ♥
