I am already here to defend Katy’s charting point. iTunes haywired and Harleys in Hawaii got deleted. then it got back up and then deleted and got back up. Next, it was banned in different parts of the world, including Australia in YouTube for some time, then it got unbanned, then banned again. I think here in the Philippines, it’s not banned at all, but for others it is. Next up is the lack of promotion except for the ASMR. Katy’s songs isn’t usually the problem (except for Small Talk) but the promotion is. Never Really Over got a decent promotion but that only led to peaking to #15 then Small Talk happened...

What a crazy thing - I remember when it seemed like Katy would never fail. I think she just needs to mature her image a bit and reinvent herself into a more "adult" artist.

She should've just focused more on NRO and performed that song on different TV shows. Its lack of promotion on hot media made it flop.  It had so much potential to be a big hit since it's that generic pop song that everyone's gonna bop to. The promotion for her singles had been pretty lazy to me. She's not a new pop girl anymore so she needs to work harder on promoting her stuff.

I'm not a fan of Katy but I like this song. I don't know why it's flopping because there are worse songs in the charts.
