I'm a vocal student as well. Her vocals have generally improved over time except for a few recent performances. But it's not bad in any way. Like stans, relax, there is plenty of room for all these people queens. But seriously the Beehive needs to chill. Beyoncé’s voice has depended significantly over the past three years. Oddly enough I haven't seen 1 stan account from any fanbase bring up or share this video.... at least any account with over like 5k followers. But it's easier to put the blame on other fanbases to defend her I guess so. But maybe she had an off day. It happens. If she continuously starts to sounds like this then maybe there should be concerns. Actually, it sounds like she’s not breathing through her nose which is why she’s getting that throaty sound along with not being able to hit the note. I just feel that people are being fatalistic and hyperbolic by implying she’s damaging her voice beyond repair. I don’t expect her to sound flawlessly 100% of the time, she’s not a machine so we shouldn’t be expecting her to work as one. While I agree that this specific performance fell flat, I watched some other clips and overall her deliverance was great, as usual. Am I missing something?
