On 6 October, 2009, Alexander McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2010 show Plato’s Atlantis became the first ever live streamed fashion show. Under the direction of Nick Knight and with support from IMG, SHOWstudio streamed what would become Lee Alexander McQueen’s final catwalk presentation live from Paris, arguably making it his most popular as well as critically revered collection.

But wow, what a moment. I know we say 'Iconic!' a lot, but truly truly that was iconic.

A bit funny though that Gaga's tweet kinda ruined their livestream because nobody told the tech people she was involved/ going to tweet about it :rip: woops, her power, far too much :laughga:

And the song wasn't 100% finished yet :cryga: you can hear small differences between this and the album version

I remember feeling so confused when I was the last to know LG released a new single that had somehow overtaken 'gay world' in less than 24 hours. I got myself glammed up, headed to the club that night, and hadn't and have yet to hear a song that held such power within it. It wasn't a bop. It bled passion and a need to express something so badly that it had finally exploded into the perfect 4-minute anthem of a lifetime. That moment > the countdowns to her MV releases > the end of the BTW era was really something incredible.

She is so talented; I hope this wait has somehow ignited a similar need to explode creatively. I understand the changes in tech meant/mean that the combo of single + aesthetics + promo + MV + message that she TM'd don't mean $$, but it made her seem... untouchable. I miss it.
