LilyLark 10,079
She's Italian. They tend to have olive complexions and can tan easily. Plus, back in '06-'10 nearly every celebrity had an Ariana Grande meets Jersey Shore meets orange tan.

I'm sure if she looked like this today, everyone would be worried about her health but back in those days no one really cared, wtf.

That's what we look like if we don't tan or if we haven't sat out in the sun for a while!

Tell them to piss off then. There's nothing wrong with being really pale just like there's nothing wrong with being really dark skinned. It's natural. We are currently in an era that lauds bronzed skin so girls go around spending a fortune on (usually bad) fake tan. Back in the 40s and 50s porcelain skin aka Vivien leigh was the desired skin tone. Just put a bit of blusher on if they are that worried 😑

I'm sure in ~10 years being pale's going to be the trend again, fashion repeats itself.
FfFfFfFF 55,358
Her natural skin tone is pale white but it can darken because of sun, make up/ products etc. Like so many people, her skin won't stay the same so I don't think why you picked it up as a weird or confusing thing. One thing that some wrongly assume of her is that her natural skin is dark and I don't know any other explications other than the fact world still lives in 2009. Guillaume Hamon 6,417
She's not diaphane à la nicole kidman/ angelina jolie but doesn't have much of a tan for a white person either. She played a lot with make up to look darker or fairer along the year but her natural skintone is the same type as the traditional "white person leaving above the Mediterranean sea italian/ spanish/ south of France person" type. I'm white as a ghost because the sun is a deadly laser but when I do tan, I get really dark. My mom was the same way, light skinned but we can't be "sun kissed", it's more like the sun drunkenly stumbles into the room and we're sun f*cked Anyway, if Italians are like that too then she could be pale when she's recording or writing and get really dark when she decides to spend the day tending to her farm or trying to buy back her chickens' love
