She say's she doesn't know if she likes the makeup line. The product's are likable and usable. She also feels like it should've been more revolutionary.

She's so gorgeous omg

I love Jackie, and I understand what she's saying! I think everything she says is definitely true, but I do wish it had been a bit more positive.

Thiiiiiiis..... was kind of a tough review  The points that Jackie made are pretty much the same things that LMs were saying, before the release, though

Even though I'm fine with her fair criticisms, I'm a little surprised she wasn't into it. I mean, most people have been favorable.

"changes beauty..." where and when did Gaga say that her line is about changing beauty standards??

Sugar, spice, and everything nice.

I totally agree with her review. It was fair and rather balanced (though it skewed a little to the hyper critical realm) but it wasn't malicious at all. Overall it felt like she expected more from Gaga and she expected more from the products themselves. She says they are usable but that we are past the point of just churning out user friendly stuff. She wants Gaga to excel and take it up a notch and is willing to give the brand another look with brand new eyes when the next launch occurs so she isn't ruling it out at all. She was also a little unsure about the quality, payoff and colors of some of the products as well as the "theme" or overarching storyboard the makeup had which she felt was a little all over the place and sort of random. I think the more products Gaga releases the more she'll warm up to the brand but I totally get what she means about the launch itself. It just felt incomplete as a whole imo.

Well her whole career has been about changing standards, in music, fashion, beauty, etc...

I mean I never thought she should even be in the beauty industry. Someone like Jlo makes sense because she’s known for her looks but Gaga is a musician, deep down and while the side gigs like acting and endorsements here and there, I never thought she cared that much about beauty in the way the beauty industry is so it was expected she would do something revolutionary like Rihanna or something, not just some lip and eye kits that any brand can just put out, it’s lazy and underwhelming just like when Fame came out, it was promised to be unusual but the only thing weird about it is the black liquid which starts to become gimmicky. Gaga is bold and I feel the people around her are trying to get her to do what makes money like the residency and this make up line that’s already in a sea of competitors, I wish she just did an endorsement for a beauty brand and collab on a limited edition line because honestly I rather her focus on her music and actually make music she wants, Joanne feels a bit personal but not personal at the same time to me. I hate when she spreads herself too thin and then gets exhausted trying to please everyone.

Like Haus Labs or not, Gaga is known for her looks ever since 2008. I don't know why some of you simply deny this. Gaga literally changed music industry with fashion just like Madonna in the 80s.

Dreams of you and me are in the dirt.

Imagine how tired we are of reading this same opinion .. just  so you know the make up line has gotten rave reviews.
