I just read an article from today from the nyt that’s basically saying the exact opposite as all of this. It seems like everyone knows nothing will come of this. And I just to make it clear- I’m not a trump supporter AT ALL. I’m just saying that all of this is a reach. He’ll stay his full term. Edit: I misread exactly what you said. So ignore most of that. BUT nothing will come of this From Article One of the United States Constitution, which gives the House of Representatives the sole power of impeachment of officers of the U.S. federal government. This is outlined in our Constitution.

BUT nothing will come of this It is pretty clear you do not understand what impeachment is and the role each chamber of Congress plays with it lol Like what was already said, it's the House which does the imoeaching, not the Senate. Two Presidents have been impeached in history. A third (Nixon) resigned before the House could impeach him. The Senate may or may not ultimately remove him with a trial, but Trump would remain as only the third US President to have been impeached. And Democrats have the votes to impeach him so it is absolutely likely. To think otherwise is to simply ignore basic math lmaoo

This is not just semantics. Both Nixon and Clinton were impeached without a single Senator voting on it. The House impeaches. The Senate conducts a trial to remove a president from office. Nothing is guaranteed in this world, but Dems have enough votes to impeach Trump tomorrow if they wanted to. Ok I spoke wrong but my point stands. Trump will go on as if nothing happened

Who cares if I didn’t explain it exactly right, you get what I mean. NOTHING will come of this. Nothing at all. Life will continue as it was.

There is a very good chance he will be impeached. That is not “nothing”. Only two other Presidents have been impeached in US history. No one said that life was going to dramatically change.
