Warren leading in Iowa

Cool for Warren but Iowa is still very much anyone’s game. Ann Selzer herself said that none of the candidates are strong in the state.

I like him, sorry ‘bout it.

I know, I'm just teasing you.

See you in the next round of polling data.

Very glad. I actually like Sanders despite finding him hypocritical at times (but all politicians are, tbf), but he's way too much of an economic reductionist for my tastes and a lot of older POC (like my parents) really dislike him unlike Warren (and my parents are center left to left, so it's not necessarily an ideology thing, too). I see people keep bringing up Sander's numbers with POC, but once you get over the age of 35 they drop dramatically—and older POC, especially older Black voters, are the ones who are the most consistent and turnout.

I truly, honestly think Warren is the best chance to get a progressive president in office. Her big issue is she needs more POC voters, but she's starting to win older POC voters over from Biden and I think it will trickle down. I also believe she needs to be more clear about health care policies.

And before someone pops off on Warren's record, they've all got flaws. Do I need to mention Bernie voting 5x against the  Brady Bill, support for PLCCA, voting against closing Gitmo in '09 until more plans were laid out (the fact that few people call him on this is...amazing...especially as he went after Clinton for voting the same exact way), and his vote for the crime bill that he rails against Biden for?

Based on these results, and all other results after televised debates, seems Mr.Biden is going be that person :diane: If indeed he is the one chosen, I have no choice but to vote for him skskkssk. Y'all knew I am rooting for somebody else.

As for Warren,  I understand she is in close race with Bernie. But you know what will make her lead more than Bernie? She have what Bernie don't, she is a woman, and lots of younger people wanted a progressive female president already. And timing for Warren to show up just can't be more perfect. And she is way more well liked than Hillary ever will. Hence is why she is leading Iowa right now. You can lay out reasons from A to Z on why Bernie need to be the chosen one, but simple reasons like this always takes over on who will win this race.

Say Obama, sure he is progressive, but why most people actually voted for him? Because he is black, we wanted POC president, we wanted to be progressive, and it happened, twice. Fact.
