What signs? 2016 was such a bizarre election especially with swing States. Trump COULD win. But people need to stop saying he'll flat out win when there's actually more argument and strategies for why he won't. Democrats just need to fight for it. Unlike in 2016.

It’s better to keep saying he will win. Maybe it will get people out to vote.

OR give up and resign to losing...

Words are powerful and people are hurting. What you said is just f*cking demoralizing.  Times of hardship are hard bc you're constantly fighting the perceived  sweet relief of saying f*ck it/giving up/death. Instead of betting on lazy "reverse psychology"  how bout actually doing something. Volunteering...fighting voter suppression...being involved on the local level where these mf-ers were able to build up their power cause we all resigned to being blissfully ignorant cus politics was too hard to deal with.

That's how he/the GOP won -- like data on a free app-- we ****ing gave them everything they needed, no questions asked. :fail:

Lol bye I worked on a House of Rep. Democratic candidate’s campaign in 2018 in a district that was red for 2 decades and they won.

Nothing was more effective than telling people how important voting was and how the other side had a high chance of winning and how it was up to them to make that important choice.

Hearing people say Trump will win just makes me take the whole thing more seriously. In 2016 everyone was SURE Clinton would win and I bet it made many people stay home.

Bottom line: VOTE VOTE VOTE. Ignore the polls. Ignore everyone. VOTE.

I’m not saying chanting “we will win!” is wrong either. But I think both forms can be effective depending on the context. Fear worked in 2018. Dems. won the House by saying how much there was at risk, not by simply being delusional and making claims that they will win.

I agree with you. I don't like just words, it has to be words and  actions: "He will win if you don't do something"

I agree! I can assure you that Trump’s base will not be staying home no matter how good or bad the polls are for him.

Dems. need to do the same.
