I'm confused I don't know why you're confused. If I start a thread (Thread 1) called "Video of Joe Biden Picking His Nose" and two days later someone makes a thread (Thread 2) called "Joe Biden Picks His Nose on Camera," it is against the rules to go into Thread 2 and tell them they made a duplicate of my thread. You can get warning points.
