Galvon 1,868
Don't get me wrong, I'm just stating my opinion. All this "classic music" is beautiful, yes, but its not really that interesting. Like its perfect for her to show what she is capable of vocaly. But most of the 2010s were allready dedicated to those genres. It's been like 7 years ago since she released ARTPOP. People think with these classic genres she really showed her talent (and yes her voice got beter over the years), but what most people don't understand is that electropop songs are way more difficult to perform live. Balads are easier. She doesn't have to dance while singing them, so its obvious that she sounds so incredible. Electropop is so underated. The fact that people think it is cheap, and those artist doing it sound bad live because they can't replicate the studio version makes me cringe so hard. Special effects in movies like Harry Potter can't happen in real life either, but they look good. The reason ''can't in real life" is just so stupid. That woudl mean that we can only make the same kind of music. There is also nothing wrong with auto-tune. "everyone can sing with auto-tune'' = bullshit. ''Omg she really can't sing. Why make such an eclectronic song if you can't do it live?'' blah blah blah. Well thats being creative, making a masterpiece, and when you watch it live it's more about the show and the feel as well, of course its never going to sound exactly the same. People should not expect that. Also Gaga never sounded bad before she did C2C, I don't get why people were that surprised about it after. In her Just Dance perforamnces in 2008 she allready proved it. Thats why she became popular as well. She was excentric and over the top which made peope look, but she compensated that with the fact that she was so good at singing live. She was allowed to be that because of her proven talent. Edit: I'm not trying to be mean to anyone.
Melodean 8,328
Judging by who Gaga has been with recently and hanging out with I think LG6 is gonna be House / Techno / Disco influenced. I can just really tell because all the people she’s been with have recently made this type of music (HANA, Bloodpop, Tchami, Boys Noize) The Haus labs promo music is a big hint. https://open.spotify.com/track/7q1GGm2mBlC9hPWige0C6e?si=6b5319d0e3b44fa6

Edit: I'm not trying to be mean to anyone. Yeah its WAY easier to sing Shallow and Million reasons just sitting there and looking pretty than Just Dance Poker Face Judas or MTN, DANCING, trust me i tried i sounded like a whole tired mess (and she does it in HUGE HEELS, WIGS, MIC PACKS, EAR MONITORS, WEIRD CLOTHES AND PROPS). Since i saw her singing at miss universe in 2008 i knew she was the real deal. Her dance performances are amazing from a technical standpoint like Telephone at the super bowl omg that was iconic. I'd love to see this materialize, at least partially. I think she has enough experience with different genres that she could use to make something really progressive and unique. Will she do that? That's on her. I'd personally love to hear JazzGa in a transcendent techno ambient, but that might be asking too much...
vpri96 118
I think this album is gonna be her best one yet for a lot of reasons. She's respected in the industry now after the Superbowl and Oscar win and she doesn't have to make an album like Joanne to fix her image anymore. She has the same energy that she had with Born This Way meaning that the new album will be all about sending a message,in this case, how important mental health is. She can be experimental with her music in the way she initially intended to with ARTPOP only now she's learned a lot from her mistakes and also matured a lot more as her lifestyle changed and priorities are different now. Also she spent a lot of time figuring out what type of music she wants to create (she told Oprah that LG6 took year to make) and although she scrapped a lot of songs ( I hate that too) I think it's for the best because this way she can only evolve more towards an unique sound. I just hope that the new album is cohesive and that she successfully blends pop with something new. I'm excited! Spoiler just don't make me wait longer than 3 months for new music or I'll lose my ****

not Chromatica 5,393
I get why people see LG6 as the spiritual successor of ARTPOP, but I always imagined something closer to BTW. Even before that ATRL guy and the supposed Stupid Love leak. SOPHIE could bring back the grittiness of BTW (though she could easily make a TEOG-esque banger too) and BloodPop, Boys Noize & Tchami could provide house / techno beats that somewhat inspired the album as well. We'll see... exactly this! I feel like LG6 is gonna be alot like BTW with ARTPOP influences really sad to see DJWS dropped from the project since he is one of the best producers gaga has worked with and he called LG6 "ARTPOP little sister" multiple times and even hinted that we would hear the full versions of songs like TEA
freemymindARTPOP 2,455
if LG6 has the whole house thing that was popular in 2016 im suing she needs to bring back REAL edm and electro pop

Mix the best traits of these genres and add a dark tone and melody in the songs and the result could be a masterpiece. A return to form, classic Gaga and something that critics and fans could eat up. monketsharona 81,217
I would actually Gaga to release something totally new. But if I had to pick some of her old records as influences on LG6 I'd say a mix of TFM and BTW.A record full of experimental, authentic, catchy and great produced pop songs.
