Yeah that's exactly what I said. She didn't need to align herself with any political party but she DID need to denounce the alt-rightists calling her 'Aryan Queen' or whatever in 2016.

I get what you are saying and I kinda agree but, I wouldnt give alt righters and Nazis legitimacy to even respond. Its like when the media started smearing Tulsi Gabbard by telling her David Duke supports her! well why are you giving David Duke opinion such an importance to the point where he can effect people reputations? Makes sense. Of course whether or not your favorite celebrity  endorses a politician or not should not be one of the reasons to vote for that person, but we know it’s not like this. It’s precisely the reason why celebrities use their fame in favor of either side, because they know they can influence people. Should it be this way? Absolutely not. It’s our duty to vote consciously, but a lot of people don’t (hence Trump winning ).
