But there are racists, mostly white, just like in every state. The rural areas probably have more. But in major cities of Texas this vile hatred isn't as common as we have diverse cities. However, I'd like to take the chance to say that blood has a shelf life of 42 days. If excessive amounts of blood are collected a lot of it could potentially go to waste.
