that's only because he had like 150360940 dates. Obviously if there are three years worth of dates in one tour it's gonna gross loads. Trash. :messga:

I said it before and i‘ll say it again you can schedule as many dates as you want but that doesnt mean you‘ll get filled out stadiums because of that.

YES!! I am so proud of Ed! He has worked so unbelievably hard and what he does onstage is honestly like no other. I saw this tour in person and it was one of the best nights of my life. Ed, you deserve this!! Congrats!!

But how’s his new album doing? :huntyga:

It’s topping charts around the globe with almost no promotion, which is incredibly impressive, especially given that it’s just a side project.

Do you seriously believe this? :toofunny:

I'd question myself if I said it confidently 10 years ago but YES she is established and still gaining popularity across many platforms. Did you read the rest of my post or are you just looking for someone to continuously disagree with?

I've said my piece. Everyone have a good day. Congrats Ed.

Clearly he has mass appeal and is extremely successful. He’s a good guy and even if you don’t like his music, dragging him is unnecessary. Stop being bitter

it's definitely impressive, but it's also definitely.. ridiculous. there is nothing unique or standout about his tour, I don't see any other artist that "just stands there with a guitar, no one else, he's so talented" making that kind of money and sales. I guess Adele comes to mind, and now I do see how he is the male Adele. White, British, bland, and very talented.

Couldn’t help myself but laugh at the part I quoted, sorry.

Gaga doesn’t have the mass appeal that Ed does, so she could never come to close to the number he’s pulling (the most successful tour of all time). You’d have to be completely delusional to think otherwise.

I guess congrats? He isn't an asshole and he is generally a decent person. I don't like all his music since it is so basic and boring but I do like some of it. Good for him. I would want someone like him to get this achievement rather than some controversial, asshole musician/band honestly.

And I will say this again, straight culture confuses me. :teehee:

Saw the show at AT&T Stadium in Dallas with the wife.  Not sure if I could've sang one of his songs all the way through but was blown away by his performance.  Ed creates his own beats by thumping on his guitar, scratching the strings and using a loop machine to repeat the sounds.  He then plays the guitar and sings on top of the beats that are repeating.  I know nothing about music but it seemed like it took skill to overlay the beats in sync and of course, he has a great voice and is a great guitar player as well.

She's married to me but her heart belongs to Gaga

That tends to happen when you have hundreds of shows.

And while they are mediocre and uninspired at best good job to him:huntyga:
