It's similar but I would say inspired and not copied. As long as it's an idea that anyone could easily have on their own, I don't think it should be called out for copying.

Having said that, I don't even see a similarity let alone copying. And I doubt Beyonce or the director even saw this original video.

They won't care—the hive doesn't even know who Bobby is—unless some little monsters are dumb enough to spread this on twitter and make it sound worse than it actually is.... and...we all know some little monsters are entirely stupid enough to spread this on twitter and try to make a big deal about it. Hopefully most are focused on the VMAs. Also, Bobby liking this post is on Bobby...not Gaga...and I don't see why it would mean Gaga would never work with Bey again. If they don't work again, it's because Bey almost never does features with women artists anymore and Gaga rarely does features, either.

I'll get slammed for this, but people really shouldn't be policing Bobby's likes. It's overly invasive, and no wonder he gets irritated with the stans at times and even Gaga seems over social media.

I'm tired of the negative Bey threads (although tbf at least 1/2-3/4 of the commenters on them defend Bey and many of the racist posters have been kicked off GGD or don't post much anymore).

But...the art director for the video for Petite Noir was very angry about this on social media the other day. Some of the frames are a reach, but the ones where they are lined up in the desert in blue, the ones with the child & mother, the child standing alone, etc.? It seems less Cranes in the Sky, and more a frame for frame take on Petite Noir. Petite Noir has also worked with people in Solange's circle, so Bey would definitely be aware of him...
