Apparently I only care about film when Gagz is up for an award, because for the most part I've only heard of the movies and actors from the 2018 award season! :ladyhaha:

Her performance was subtle and powerful and list like these are opinion pieces so it matters on an individual or a group of individuals not the general populus! So you can disagree but making your own list might be better!:hor:

Is there a Paddington 3 coming out that we don't know about and the creators paid Indiewire off for promo or what is happening with that rotten movie making it so high on their lists? Yesterday it beat out ASIB in top movies :ladyhaha: the delusion I can't :saladga:

Omg I didn't even notice that :rip: Paddington stans are out there, employed and influential :koons:

To me it's just obvious they stuck a few popular ones in to get people to care and click on this thing. I mean, Tom ****ing Cruise for Mission: Impossible? :awkney: They cannot be serious about that. No way.

The acclaim is still coming in for Miss Gaga, almost a year later, I cannot believe it :messga: When will she let her ugly doubters breathe, oh my god! Imagine how tired they are

That's the one that struck my eye, even yesterday. Moreso than the inclusion of Paddington 2 (which I heard was incredible, btw).

That said... maybe they highlighted it because it's their top "action" film? I do know that it got a lot of praise . hmmstve

Idgi :emma: They don't make statements about whole decades do they?

A lot of these amazing acting performances (and their films) weren't even nominated for an Oscar too, so that logic doesn't work for me. The Oscars have always been 50% popularity 50% quality contest. Film festivals and critics associations are a better judge.

I feel pretty sad that Bradley didn't exist in the ASIB era & still doesn't. Everybody from the GP mentions the film as "Lady Gaga's biography/Lady Gaga's film", all the awards that the film won were snatched by Gaga, it feels like Bradley couldn't shine even if it was HIS project… Even the soundtrack is listed as an album by Gaga only in most of countries...
