Marina overkilled with Electra heart tbh but I can't wait for her new album , I hope it's fresh and new. Electra heart was where she got her fanbase, so now I think she will have more stable success (chart wise, mostly iTunes)

What direction would you guys like for her to take with the new album?

Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~

I'd be happy with either more alternative like TFJ or more EDM-influenced music like the Electra Heat title track.  :legend:

Future Lover

I'm quite excited for her next album. It's just a pity no one knows anything about it yet.

Didn't she tweet that she was recording a couple of months ago? And then we got that rumor about September 2014.  Either way it's a shame that that's all we know. I can't wait

A cross between TFJ and Electra Heart, if that makes sense. I like the lyricism on TFJ but the pop-ness of EH.

Definitely the quirky pop thing she was doing on TFJ. Electra Heart is fine, but sonically it doesn't stand out among its peers. Then again, Dr. Luke produced some of the tracks so what do you expect :derpga: I also feel like Electra Heart is gonna sound really dated when a different style of synth becomes popular. Something like Human League's "Don't You Want Me" is very synth heavy, but the type of synth used clearly gives away that it's an 80s track. In the future, we're gonna hear stuff like Primadonna and Donatella and think "ah, the early 2010s!" The Family Jewels doesn't sound dated to me except where it purposefully goes for that sound, like Shampain.

Betty Who

I'd love to hear a combination of TFJ's quirkiness and EH's pop, with some EDM   :music:
