Trump’s just pressed because he hates being stood up to by a woman but especially a woman of color. He’s literally saying that since you’re not “from” here you can never really be a part of here. She’s a citizen; legally and morally she has every right to be in Congress and telling president Trump what a vicious, repugnant, liar and pathetic man he is and how backwards and debilitating his policies are. If he doesn’t like it he didn’t have to be president; but he’s such a d*** loser that it was his only option left to make money. She is a citizen and a part of an equal branch of government to Trump. She does not have to “go back where she came from” just because his male fragility got nicked a bit.

 

and there was outcry on the left to her anti-Semitic statements which she apologized for as well despite them largely being taken out of context by the right hoping to demonize the Democrats. She criticized Israel, an incredibly corrupt country and it’s leader who currently faces allegations of said corruption. Criticizing Israel is not anti-Semitic. That’s right-ist propaganda to get people to shut up about our amoral unequivocal backing of Israel under this administration. The point is, though, is that Trump has not and will not apologize for this despite its obvious and lazy racism. Omar has. I’d rather support someone who apologizes for hurting others even if they’re being only apologizing for something not being fully understood than a toddler in chief who can’t take the heat.

Using someone’s heritage as a weapon in a nation of immigrants is classic scapegoating; he’s using it as a means of invalidating her often valid criticisms by stoking nativist fear of the ‘other’. If she’s a US citizen and especially if she’s a CONGRESSWOMAN, she has EVERY RIGHT ago critique our government. That being said, her anti-semitism was far from “blatant”, it was what appeared to be an accidental use of codified language, which she has now apologized for. Aside from that, critiquing the U.S. problematic relationship with Israel is NOT anti-Semitic.
