giskardsb 12,565
Nobody can force her to do anything any more. This project is not the same as the fragrances. In the BOF interview she even discusses how she got venture capital for this. It’s clearly important to her and something she is invested in. Nothing about that seems “dead in the eyes” to me. LaLa 19,657
This is different, it really sounds like she is very involved in creating this company from the ground up, and she’s excited about it. With the perfume she was so busy, doing a million things, and basically forced to do it. That video about learning to say ‘no’ proves that she wouldn’t agree to something like that again. Tom Nook 37,808
She looks fine tbh who would force her to do makeup when people here say she’s surrounded by yes men Uh Red Wine... Convict... Gah Gah...
Lottie Winters 1,628
She developed the brand herself she easily could’ve not done it....

mauvais 0
The video is lively imo, but she looks like a corpse in the main photo she's chosen. I obviously wish her all the success in the world but girl boss sh*t is a trap. I think when you're An Artist, not A Celebrity, you're just not going to get the same high selling lipstick as you are releasing music and performing and therein lies a major potential issue. Like, what is the significance of selling a million lipsticks? *yawn* Not trying to be a downer but f*ck capitialism. Haus Labs has a lot of room to play around and not be so serious, which I think is what they're trying to do. The first video reminds me of Glossier Play which is super fun and frivolous makeup for nights out.
derpmonster 22,412
She has this face often. It's not new. Many of her ad campaigns have her looking neutral. With a... Poker Face, if you will. Check out iTunes data & graphs at CHARTPOP.live
moonboywow 3,136
What...do you expect her to smile? This seems really high fashion. How she looks fits the mood and vibe of this.
michael angelo 1,087
Well.. I think that the point is.. Gaga was selling perfumes which meant NOTHING to her. There’s no way someone can express themselves through a perfume (?) With this project I think it’ll be different because Gaga herself started her career and the “persona” with makeup. She has a message and a voice with her brand, which she didn’t before. I do think she’s a bit on the “lifeless” department but I think that’s because she has been reading some sh*t over the last years, and obviously it got into her... She obviously loves us (her fans) but she’s not connected in the same way because SOME OF “US” were being too toxic. I’m sorry if I mispronounced something, English is not my main language as u can see and I’m doing my best! we could belong together

SEANGT 5,296
1 hour ago, Gracious Gaga said: Hey guys. Haus Laboratories looks really cool! However, imo, Gaga looks lifeless, dead in the eyes, blank facial expression... I know I may get dragged for this observation, but I’m just not convinced she is genuinely excited/passionate about this project. I feel bad for her. I just can’t stop thinking about the video of her saying how selling fragrances didn’t make her happy and she felt she was a money machine for other people and she just got to a point where she started saying “no”.. I just worry that she may have not had a choice w the makeup line. Of course, all we’ve seen so far is a 1 minute video. Like I said, the visuals are really cool...but she looks exhausted and unhappy. What’re your thoughts? Let’s PLEASE KEEP IT NICE in this thread. I am not trying to promote hate or negativity, I just want to know if anyone has had this same observation/concern as me. I do wish her happiness and success! This is what beauty brand modeling looks like. It's not a reflection of her mood. Also, I've seen this thing with her "saying no" speech several times. It's not relevant to this. She was referring to people wanting to make money off of her and put her name on things and put stuff out to make money. This is completely different in every way. This is Gaga's company & passion project to change the beauty industry. It's a startup company with a message. It's perfect for her.

adamsenigma 9,520
Inreally hope you are being ironic or something cuz ig you're not... Plus, Gaga and the perfume stuff was her label's idea, that's why she felt like "whatever" with it and that's why she always had that IDGAF attitude on the promo interviews... cuz she really never cared. You can tell that she’s passionate about HL and I'm pretty sure it was her idea. She probably eanted to venture in other fields and realized makeup was a very profitable one so she did what SHE wanted to do. PS: That "<3" in the OP title.. please NDNFNJFJG
