Shallow is a part of her greatest hits , but I don't like Shallow very much. The film is great and I still enjoy the soundtrack :).

For sure it is! I still hear it being played everyday on radios etc, it's longevity is truly incredible really  for today's fast passed hit music era.

That's based of sales and streams not charting positions, if you look at the chart history Just Dance definitely charted better.

Probably Alejandro is slightly bigger than Million Reason, but I think Applause is bigger than both! Should be:

#9 The Edge Of Glory

#10 Alejandro/Million Reasons (difficult to say)

Yes, it's definitely in her top 5. I'd still place it behind Just Dance though.

Maybe I'm basing it on the fact that I'm from Germany but I know a bunch of people who could not tell you what Shallow is. But everyone knows Just Dance for sure. It's an iconic hit til this day.

It became this song where people just recognize from the get go and willing to participate in singing along or dancing along. The many videos where people were screaming at the top of the lungs to what is now known as the Gaga howl shows that they don't only know the song, the song is a vehicle for community activity much like Bad Romance's choreo were. 

Poker Face was a huge hit but it's not exactly what I call a cultural phenomenon like BR and Shallow.

Poker face was so big it was even featured in South Park. Though i do agree Shallow is also a cultural phenomenon
