Sorry but people's marks should be purely based on academic performance they shouldn't be tampering with it for other stuff

There's a thing in Romania, we have grades for our behaviour which starts from "10" and if that number goes below 7 then you don't pass the class no matter if your grades are great or not. That guy only lost 3 points which is like the limit

Oh ok thanks for explaining. We don't have that here in Canada at least not in my Province

 

What we have is a seperate section beside our marks which grades certain aspects of behavior as "excellent", "good", "satisfactory", or "needs improvement"

 

But that won't make u pass or fail. That section is just for the parents to see

Yeah in my country is a bit more complex, people really values someone's behavior here (to be honest, this rule is only to make you not do stupid things) but there are really rare occasions when someone's not passing the class because of this like you really have to f*ck things up for this to happen

She does deserve prison cuz that is absolutely disgusting and I feel bad for whoever bought the product after that. But 20 years is harsh. Apparently as @Economy said that is like the hard end of the sentence. Hopefully she only gets like 1-2  years. I think that is enough time for her to learn a lesson but also not going to ruin her life forever.
