Not a fan of Beto running for president but I don't think he's proposing starting new wars. This plan seems like trolling people to make them think about the actual long term human and financial costs of going to war.

Not a fan of a war tax. Not at all.  Also, not a fan of military actions not actually authorized by Congress, as per the constitution.

Congress, the president, all government employees, the entire VA medical system, and all of the healthcare exchanges for US citizens should have the same medical insurance.

Nooope, not into this at all. Universal healthcare is the answer, not taxing Americans even more just to cover one group of people. Healthcare should be a human right, not a commodity. Can you imagine going to a hospital with your life at risk & being told you don’t get the best treatment cause you can’t afford it?

Yes because someone who is trying to win the vote for president is going to risk that to “troll” people. He probably doesn’t even know what trolling is.

People running for president are trying all sorts of things online these last couple of cycles. :huntyga:

It was a hyperbolic use of the word trolling for his hyperbole. Trying to bring attention to an issue via an extreme proposal that will get people's attention and get him in the news is definitely a publicity technique. Also the cost of war is super relevant (always and) right now.
