SamJ 8,008
I have been dreaming of Gaga headlining Glastonbury for years now but if she did what should her setlist be? What would go down well at the UK festival? Mine would be: 1 Shallow 2 Just Dance 3 Poker Face 4 Born This Way 5 Million Reasons 6 Always Remember Us This Way 7 The Cure 8 Paparazzi 9 Alejandro 10 Marry The Night ( people know this here she did it on x factor and it got to 13 in our charts so it had some impact ) 11 Bad Romance 12 You And I 13 I'll Never Love Again 14 Joanne Piano Version 15 The Edge Of Glory 16 Hair (again she did some UK promo for this at the time so it was sort of a hit here) 17 Telephone 18 Do What U Want 19 The Fame 20 Applause

2School4Cool 6,397
If it were entirely up to me, I would love to see her do: 1. Poker Face 2. LoveGame 3. Perfect Illusion (Realistically she’d probably do an old deep cut instead) 4. Sexxx Dreams 5. Scheiße 6. Telephone 7. Born This Way 8. Just Dance 9. Applause 10. Million Reasons 11. Joanne (Piano Version) 12. Gypsy (in reality she’d probably play Yoü and I here) 13. Alejandro 14. Paparazzi 15. The Edge Of Glory -Encore- 16. Shallow 17. Bad Romance See The Best In Everyone
OMonster 14,664
Glastonbury is quite old-school - it's a lot more about the music than, say, Coachella, for example... which is a little flashier. Of course, Glastonbury is still a 'show' but it's a bit grittier. With that in mind: Act 1: Poker Face (piano start, progressing into studio version) A-Yo / MANiCURE LoveGame Born This Way Act II: Judas Heavy Metal Lover Electric Chapel Marry The Night Act III: Just Dance Alejandro Paparazzi Applause Act IV: (ft. Mark Ronson) Perfect Illusion (bigger hit in the UK) Diggin My Grave (ft. Bradley Cooper) Always Remember Us This Way (ft. Adele) Hey Girl (ft. Florence Welch + Adele) Act V: Edge of Glory Bad Romance (studio, finishing on piano) Back To Black (ft. Mark Ronson) Encore: Shallow (ft. Bradley Cooper, Mark Ronson) Spoiler I think this is a pretty realistic set-list and is very UK-friendly. ASIB was a huge hit here, and whilst Joanne wasn't very popular, the songs I have chosen would resonate really well in the UK. Judas, Perfect Illusion and Marry The Night, whilst considered 'flop' singles, performed much better in the UK than in the US. And the deep cuts (Electric Chapel, Heavy Metal Lover) are perfect for a rock moment in Glastonbury. The ASIB picks (Look What I found, Diggin' My Grave, ARUTW and Shallow) are songs from the movie that I think Gaga would feel comfortable performing. They're not the satirical pop songs and they're not as deeply character-rooted as INLAG. The Adele feature would be perfect, too. We know they are friends and we also know that Adele is gearing up for a new release, and so the timing would be perfect. Adele is also closely connected to Glastonbury, having headlined there to much critical acclaim. And as a British icon, Gaga teaming up with Adele (and Florence!) at the country's biggest festival would be pretty cool. The Back to Black cover would be incredible, too - covering a British classic, and doing so with the song's original producer in Mark Ronson. Overall, this is a set I would *love* to see from Gaga... it would finally celebrate her entire career, which she virtually never does. And it would be allow for some cool moments with Bradley, Florence, Mark and Adele. subtext / fantasy
