I remember multiple people over the years saying Japan Hot 100 isn't a credible chart that reflects actual Japan chart stats.

They're right imo. While doing this, songs that hit #1 would move up 90 positions then fall like 30 positions right after. :fail: Also, there has been multiple occasions where the chart positions wouldn't move at all.

Isn't the official Japanese chart the Oricon chart? Problem: It's all in japanese and nobody here can read that as far as I'm concerned.

Probably, but you can just translate the words in Google Translator. That is what I did for the chart from 2009 to 2011
