South Korea's thresholds for certifactions are very interesting too. 100,000,000 streams equals 2,500,000 sales. Streaming and sales are actually quite similarly priced and in 90% of the services you have to pay for every song to stream it, there's no "flatrate" option. Usually it's like "Pay 10 dollars a month and each month you can pick 10 songs to add to your library to stream".

Must been some kind of payola. The last song non-Christmas song to spend only week at #1 on the chart was "Maps" by Maroon 5, on February 14, 2015.
