Good for you but not everyone is in the position to stop violence nor are all situations the same. What if these men had a gun or knife? I'm not going to judge someone for not pouncing on the men. If you can make sure the victims are ok it is enough.

They just stare or look away with no emotions. I think that is a bigger problem than these criminal racists beating people. That’s just a typical Middle Eastern mentality. Claiming that Europeans are cruel and we are the kindest. If that was true, then Europe wouldn’t have such serious consequences for those who commit hate crimes and other anti-violence laws. And we wouldn’t have laws in almost every Middle Eastern country that allows men to beat their wives lightly. A crime like this would be celebrated here. And wouldn’t even be considered a crime. But a honorable reaction by religious people who help keeping our traditions and preventing Western propagandas.

Trying to find a video of this violent attack so I can see all of these members of society not defending these poor ladies. Do you have any links to where I can see all those people that didn't jump in.

I agree but ive seen racist old woman in videos attacking a Muslim for example and people do nothing to stop it. It then leads to violence and people turn their head or watch without emotions. I cant understand that there is no threat if they defending that. And most people would not intervene if something could also threaten them but there should be some people that would risk it specially in a big public space with alot of people. I’ve also seen plenty of videos of people defending others against racists? Does that mean that everyone in America/Europe helps in those types of attacks? Have you considered the powerful emotions of fear or shock that might prevent somebody from intervening due to the possibility that they'll be attacked or likely outnumbered such as this case with 4 attackers? Edit: have you ever heard of the normal human responses to danger: fight, flight, or freeze? Not everybody's physiology is going to incline them to fight. Many times people are going to panic and freeze up, or run away to defend their wellbeing. You sir are doing just as much projecting and generalizing as you call others out for by coming to the conclusion that all westerners are emotionless and spineless. I guess people are offended by me saying people in the west? I did not mean it that way, I just see this happening alot on western countries. I dont think its because westerners are spineless and emotionless but I do think people in the west are told to avoid these situation and move on or let authorities deal with it. I also think they can get into alot of legal trouble and social media attacks. People in my country would do nothing if they saw men sexually harassing a woman wearing revealing cloths and I have no problem saying it so no need to get offended if I criticize something I see in the west. And yes I do understand people having fear and shock when these things happen, im just saying if it happens in a public place where criminals are outnumbered, there should be some who are willing to defend. I can see why people disagree with me or have criticism of what I said, but people are freaking out about my comment which makes me think its about me more than what I said. If you have 4 men (like in the article) attacking these women, a 5ft 8 skinny guy like me would not get very far if I intervened. In my messy era. I'm not offended or freaking out I'm pointing out the hypocrisy in your posts. You brought up the European/American which was a generalization just like you took issue with the other person making a generalization about the Middle East. It would be nice if we had so many able and willing people in every situation where violence happens to step in to help the victims but that's not how it happens, we can agree on that. Also I don't know you so speaking for myself none of my comments are about you as a person, they're responses to your words.
