Aw, it's about more than just Christian though. She was engaged, at some point she looked at him and genuinely thought she'd found the person she was going to start her family with, grow old with etc. All of her dreams for her future would have included him.

And it's good that she recognized he wasn't right for her and didn't just settle, but starting over at 33 when you want kids sucks no matter what. Plus Christian has 2 daughters that I'm sure Gaga loved, and if it's true that she had to go no contact with him because he was pushing it she probably had to cut them out too. 

Also, for her love life in general we know she's kinda haunted by that "rich and alone in your big house" thing, I'm sure a second failed engagement just plays into her fears about that.

It must be strange for Gaga because there are so many millions of people who love her, but it must be very difficult to find a partner who isn't intimidated by her success, is willing to deal with her crazy schedule, and isn't just dating her for clout. I hope she finds love someday soon =(

I am still lowkey giving her the side eye tho to be quite honest.

Well Gaga's an emotional person, we know she feels everything at a 10 in general, and to sing with such emotion probably takes her to a  personal place. 

I'm sure lots of the time she's glad to be rid of him, especially if he was as needy/jealous/controlling/clingy as one might assume.
