Especially when she experimented with different colors. It's kind of wild how so many people reacted to her differently simply because she wore longer, more "conventionally beautiful" wigs. That said, if she chooses to continue wearing wigs, then a shorter style like this could make things easier, so as to her not having to do intense braiding to fit under a cap.
