I don’t care about chart success. She could hit #40 for all I care and that would be fine with me. In order to get a #1 or a Top 3, maybe even Top 5, you have to appeal to the teenage demographic, and I don’t think Gaga will ever be in with that crowd again. Gaga is my generation’s superstar. The next generation of kids have their own icons, and Gaga is not one of them. Her youngest pseudo-safe demographic is the college crowd, and even that is unsteady as her initial fan base is aging out of university.

With radio deal + Spotify takeover + Gorgeous/ Interesting Instagram post streak + Heavy Snapchat activity + Lyric video w/ BTS footage + same-day MV Release a Top 3 debut for the Lead Single is definitely possible. Anything else after that depends on 1. the quality of the song and 2. Interscope’s management of online promotion

I think her team just needs to be smarter about promo. She definitely needs more radio play if she wants more #1s (which is part of the reason Shallow went #1, it actually had radio play). She just needs a few radio friendly songs and she's got it in the bag.

Hmmmm. I think youre wrong. You're acting as if she has been out since the 90s lol.
