Yep.  When I hear people discussing vocalists they are often talking about technical criteria like the highest note, how long they can hold a note, etc.    But none of that makes Gaga brilliant... what makes Gaga brilliant  is how many different ways she can  bend her voice to the needs of the song.... from full round  tone to thin and airy, chest voice, head voice, etc.... she easily changes her fundamental tone to convey what she wants in a song.  But that wouldn't matter either, except that she is exceptional at using those tools to transform a performance into something sublime.

This to me is a masterclass on song interpretation, and only Gaga would have pulled this one off this way.
